Coach Cassidy Paperny has been playing volleyball for over 16 years as a setter and pin hitter. During her time playing club volleyball, Cassidy and her club team took the Championship in the Baltimore Qualifier and ranked 5th in the country at Junior Olympics. During her high school career, Cassidy played for Culver City High School. She was the captain of her team and during her senior year, she helped her team win league for the first time since 2004. She was selected to be on the All-League team and awarded All-League MVP. After an amazing 27 win season, Cassidy was also awarded Most Inspirational from her high school coach.
 
Cassidy continued to play for Golden West College in Huntington Beach. She played both beach and indoor volleyball.  During her freshman year of college, Cassidy and her partner took 3rd in state for beach volleyball. During her sophomore year, Cassidy had the highest hitting percentage in the state and led her team in kills. She was selected to be on the First Team All-Conference both of her years at Golden West. After Golden West College, Cassidy was given a full ride scholarship to Cal State Fullerton to play volleyball.

Cassidy has been coaching both indoor and beach volleyball for over 8 years. During her first years at Golden West, Cassidy helped run the beach volleyball camp in Huntington Beach. During this time, Cassidy also attended multiple coaching clinics hosted by Long Beach Men’s Head Coach, Alan Knipe. Previously, Cassidy has coached at Kennedy High School and ran the program at Orangewood Academy. Currently, Cassidy helped turn around the program at Millikan High School and is an assistant coach for Varsity. With her loud/energetic spirit, Cassidy quickly creates a bond with all players! She has coached for our 14’s, 16’s, and 17’s teams at Culver!
