Coach Eric has been playing competitive volleyball for over 27 years, starting his career at Culver City High School earning All-Ocean League.  He continued playing club volleyball while attending Cal State University, Long Beach; where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and later a Master’s Degree in Social Work.

Eric’s coaching career began while working as a School Social Worker at Culver City Middle School.  There he led the Culver Panthers to a Basin League Championship, and it was at that time he developed a love for coaching.   Coach Eric believes a team’s success will have much greater value than individual accomplishments and encourages his players on and off the court.  He coaches with passion and wants his teams to have fun, work hard and grow both as athletes and as individuals.

Coach Eric works in LAUSD as a School Social Worker, and had the opportunity to coach at one of the schools he worked at.  For two years as the head coach of the Hollywood High Girls Varsity Volleyball Team, he led his girls to two consecutive league titles and a 21-6 overall record.   Eric continues to grow as a coach, and recently finished Gold Medal Squared training.  He also believes in giving back, and often volunteers his time to teach volleyball to inner city youth.

Eric and his wife Tammi, reside in Westchester with their two children.
